DINIYYAH PUTERI

HISTORY

Diniyyah Puteri Padang Panjang, a modern boarding school for girls located in the city of Padang Panjang, West Sumatera, was founded on 1st of November 1923 by Rahmah El Yunusiyyah. The 23 year old founder was inspired by the education system at Diniyyah School, a school founded by her elder brother Zainuddin Labay El Yunusy in 1915. 

Today, Diniyyah Puteri Padang Panjang has gone far with five educational levels, from kindergarten to academy, aiming at the one big goal to "Educate Islamic Generation."

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

1. Madrasah Tsanawiyah Diniyyah Menengah Pertama (DMP)

Madrasah Tsanawiyah Diniyyah Menengah Pertama (DMP) equivalent of Junior High School (SMP) is the first educational program level founded by Rahmah El Yunusiyyah. It was accredited A by National Accreditation Board, Ministry of Education, Indonesia. Founded in 1923.

2. SMP Diniyyah Puteri

DMP and SMP Diniyyah Puteri are boarding schools aimed at educating female students from Elementary School to become the real muslimah candidates. Founded in 2011.

3. MA Kuliyatul Muallimat El Islamiyyah (KMI)

KMI was founded 14 years after Diniyyah Puteri was first pioneered. KMI focuses on educating the future of the real muslimah having intellectual, emotional and spiritual intelligence in order to become a strong Islamic generation with noble morality. Founded in 1937.

KMI Diniyyah Puteri graduates are spread all over Indonesia and other countries. TEACHERS

Teachers of Diniyyah Puteri Padang Panjang are those who have significant experience in religious and scientific education from various universities inside and outside of Indonesia, such as Al-Azhar University (Cairo), State Islamic Institute, Padang State University, University of Indonesia, LIPIA Jakarta, Malang State University, Andalas University, and many more. They are joining Diniyyah Puteri with new visions and missions, "Islamic education based on Al-Qur'an, Hadits and Modern Disciplines" applied leveraging new technology and multimedia in their classes.
